RMITVRoom

8-Channel Animation Installation
Presented at the Interactive Entertainment 2013 Conference
RMIT Design Hub

My animation, The Show, is currently being adapted for a new multi-channel interactive viewing experience known as the “VRoom”. The VRoom (Virtual Room) is a cinema consisting of a series of eight screens positioned in a 360-degree octagon shape. The audience navigates the space created by the screens to view media and progress through the narrative. To enhance this interactive viewing experience, The Show was also converted from 2D to stereoscopic 3D.

This research is currently being undertaken by Helen Dickson and Rebecca Hayes within the Animation and Games disciplines at RMIT University.

A demo of this project was exhibited during the Interactive Entertainment 2013 Conference held in October 2013 at RMIT Design Hub. Further details can be found here.
