An animated short film surrounding the routine lives and pre-show practices of a small traveling carnival troupe.
As the daily routines of a travelling carnival unfold, in all its tired backstage banality, the elusive character of The Trickster moves fluidly amongst his undisturbed cohort. Even in their everyday rituals, the Carnival folk entertain in short, intimate ‘performances’ that are at once a collision of comedy and tragedy.
