Capture is a 10 page comic chapter created for Fly the Colour Fantastica: A Comic Anthology.
Fly the Colour Fantastica is a story-driven comic anthology produced by 12 Australian artists. Through heartfelt storytelling and colour as the main tool, each artist draws one chapter reflecting on the themes of growth, revelation, and small victories.
AWARDS
Fly the Colour Fantastica was awarded a 2016 Silver Ledger Award for Excellence in Australian Comics, and was also a shortlisted finalist in the 2015 Aurealis Awards.

The sold-out hardcover publication, produced in a limited edition run of 500, contains 160 pages of full-colour artwork. A digital version is available for purchase in the Fly the Colour Fantastica online store.

Produced for the Mini Comic of the Month Club, a subscription series of Australian minicomics delivered straight to your door. Other featured series artists have included Andrew Fulton, Neil Sanders, The Seven Seas, Mel Stringer, Mandy Ord & Pat Grant.

“Shortchanged”
A short one-page comic for ‘Drawn From Life‘, a free cartoon newspaper edited and produced by Oslo Davis. The publication features semi-autobiographical and original stories by cartoonists and comic makers from Australia and beyond!
DETAILS
This project was unleashed across Melbourne as part of the 2011 Melbourne Writers Festival, with 35,000 copies distributed to commuters across Melbourne train stations.
